The second installment of the BTCC Summer Series features two incredible comeback stories from the Thruxton weekend. Handy Motorsport’s Simon Belcher and STP Racing with Sopp + Sopp’s Ollie Jackson both had big crashes at the high-speed Hampshire venue and were in a race against time to get their respective Toyota Avensis and Proton Gen2 machines back racing-fit for Oulton Park.

Louise Goodman speaks to both drivers about the causes, costs and incredible repair jobs carried out on both cars, and you can relive both spectacular moments – neither of which resulted in any serious injury for the drivers…
